I heard this song way back when they played live at the wireless on JJJ when Welcome Aboard the 3C10 came out. I was always disappointed it wasn't on the Cd, but it was on Contact High, and worth the wait! The guitar in this is mainly just little inflections that support the organ and bass which drive the song. Until the end of course, where it all goes nuts. intro/verse: organ bit, then bass goes: G----7---9---10-------10---9---7-- D--------------------------------- A--5---7---8--------8----7---5---- E--------------------------------- after a bit, guitar comes in with: e------------------- B--6p5----6p5------- G------7------7----- D------------------- every half bass run A------------------- E------------------- pre-chorus is just: e----------------------- B----------------------- G--7--------7-7-7---7--- D----------------------- etc. A----5-5--5-------5----- E----------------------- I think that in the chorus, guitar is just feintly something like: e---------------------------------- B---------------------------------- G--7-9-10--12-10-9-7--etc.--5-7---- D---------------------------------- "the shadow man..." A---------------------------------- E---------------------------------- under all the organ and bass the end rock out bit is D & C repeated, then just D, then back again until finishing on D
