American Nights

Tuning: Drop D (D A D G B E) 

This is one of my favorite songs from Plain White Ts off of their latest album. 
There are at least three guitar parts but for simplicity's sake I'm going to 
try to condense them into one single guitar part for a solo performance. 

The spacing between the chords will be an attempt to imply the rhythm but as 
always it's best to listen to the song as you try to learn it to figure it out 
for yourself. I will also attempt to plot out the strumming pattern above the 
section.

one. If you find it too difficult to play then you can separate the parts  
into two: one would play only the bass notes on the D string while the other
