Leaving Babylon

"What is up and.."
"Let me tell you something brother"
"I am both confused from here, alright!"

G A
I'm leaving this babylon
G A
I'm leaving this babylon
G A
It will not be for long
G A
It will not be for long
G A G A
Says my people are starving
A G A G A
But the money's running
G A G A
I said Jah people are starving
A G A G A
But the money's running

G A
Say the dollar dollar drop down real low
G A
And you ain't got no gold to show
G A
Gonna take the shit right nice and low
G A
We're not gonna come back no more
G
I said the politician's lying
A
The people always dying
G A
And nothing's ever gonna change
G
I said my momma's always cryin'
A
Sister's always lying
G A
And nothing's ever gonna change

A G A
That's why I say turn me loose
G A
Turn me loose
G A
Take the sheet's off from off my feet
G A
I wanna run to the rhythm and the beat
G A G
Cause it's so long since I've had you by my side
A
Oh Lord
G A G A
But I wake and take this fighting anymore

G A
So I'm leaving this babylon
G A
I'm leaving this babylon
G A
Will not be for long
G A
Will not be for long

G A
You can hear my rhythm
G A
Even my Irene
G A G A
They are the ones who will satisfy you oh Lord
G A
And they will try
G A
Try in every way Lord
G A
To run your life
G A
Mmm, trouble in the land
