Linear Funk Groove

The simple basis of any linear pattern. Don\'t hit two drums at the same time. Fill 16th note gaps with hi hats. 

When you do hit the hi-hats in this use the tip of your stick about 1/3 - 1/2 of the way out the top hi hat cymbal.

repeat until you\'re sick to the teeth of it, then you can do various other linear combinations

these are just a couple of examples i havnt tested yet, but you can come up with many many combinations using just hi hat snare and bass drum.
