Advanced - Advanced - Paradiddle/rudiment Exe

	  		

These exercises were made by my teacher Jason Foy, not me. They can be used by everyone not just advanced drummers, its only as hard as you make it for yourself. They are good for a warm up activity.

keep the kick drum speed constant, only the snare changes speed. Include accents. Play at different speeds to get the most from these exercises.

4/4 timing : single paradiddle

3/4 timing : Paradiddle-diddle

(use double strokes at faster speeds)

You can use basically any rudiments for this exercise. obviously they get harder at higher speeds so more advanced drummers should be able to get to fairly high tempos, but keep the bass drum even...
If you get bored, use diddle rudiments but switch the bass and snare parts for more of a challenge and improved independence/speed.
