Isn't it dark for this time of evening?

Does it seem cold for this time of year?

You will forgive me, now, for asking

But it seems strange to find you here,

Here in this empty upstairs chamber

Just a few hours before the dawn;

In a few moments, He'll be coming;

As they recline around the table,

As each of His followers finds a place,

As each of them gaze upon the mystery

Of the dark riddle of His face,

Could they be wondering in the shadows

"Is this the end or just the start?"?

If they had only learned to listen

To finally break the fallen curse,

And the stillness of that heart was felt

And new hope to make a start,
